Updated Fixing Tape

Following customer feedback, we have upgraded the supplied fixing tape to genuine 3M™ VHB™ double-sided tape. After testing four different brands, we found 3M VHB to offer the strongest and most reliable bond, making it the clear choice for this product.

Each spoiler lip is supplied with a roll of genuine 3M VHB tape for self-installation.

Installation Guide

Before fitting, ensure that the mounting surface is thoroughly cleaned and free from dirt, wax, grease, and moisture.

For best results, we recommend having a second person assist with positioning and holding the spoiler lip firmly in place while the adhesive bonds to the surface.

• Apply firm, even pressure for approximately 90 seconds after positioning.

• Avoid getting the area wet for at least 48 hours after installation.

• Do not wash the vehicle during this curing period.

Fitting Tips

As ABS plastic can naturally contract slightly after moulding, some spoiler lips may feel rigid during installation. If required, gentle heat can be applied using a hairdryer to increase flexibility and help achieve the perfect fit.

Alternative Installation Methods

For customers seeking a more permanent installation, automotive-grade sealant may also be used. Please note that, depending on the sealant chosen, removal may be difficult or irreversible and could require replacement of the original spoiler if you decide to remove the lip in the future.
