Following customer feedback and extensive product testing, we’ve upgraded every kit to include genuine 3M™ VHB™ double-sided tape.

After testing four different adhesive brands, 3M VHB consistently provided the strongest, most reliable bond, making it the obvious choice for long-term durability and ease of installation.

Every spoiler lip extension includes a roll of genuine 3M™ VHB™ tape, ready for self-installation.

Installation

For the best possible bond, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, wax and any other contaminants before installation.

We recommend having a second person assist with positioning the spoiler lip before applying pressure.

Once correctly aligned:

● Apply firm, even pressure for approximately 90 seconds.

● Do not expose the vehicle to water for at least 48 hours.

● Avoid washing the vehicle during the adhesive curing period.

Fitting Tips

Due to the manufacturing process, ABS plastic may naturally contract slightly as it cools after moulding. As a result, some spoiler lips may feel firm during installation.

If necessary, gently warming the spoiler lip with a household hairdryer will increase its flexibility, making it easier to achieve a precise fit.

Alternative Installation

For customers who prefer a more permanent fixing method, automotive-grade polyurethane adhesive or body sealant can also be used.

Please note that permanent adhesives may make future removal difficult and, depending on the product used, could damage the original spoiler during removal. We therefore recommend using the supplied genuine 3M™ VHB™ tape unless a permanent installation is specifically desired.
