Quick-Fit Installation

The spoiler lip comes with pre-installed automotive-grade double-sided tape, allowing for a straightforward installation without drilling or permanent modification to the spoiler.

For the best possible bond:

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the spoiler surface before installation.

2. Carefully position the spoiler lip before removing the adhesive backing.

3. We recommend using two people during installation to ensure the lip is held firmly and evenly against the spoiler while the adhesive bonds.

4. Once positioned, hold the spoiler lip firmly against the spoiler for at least 90 seconds.

5. Avoid getting the area wet for 48 hours after installation.

6. Do not wash the vehicle during this initial curing period.

Installation Tip — ABS Flexibility

Due to the manufacturing process, ABS components can occasionally shrink slightly after being removed from the mould. This may make the spoiler lip feel more rigid than expected during installation.

If required, gently warming the ABS using a hairdryer can provide additional flexibility and make positioning easier.

Do not overheat the plastic. Apply gentle, even heat and test the flexibility gradually.

Looking for a More Permanent Installation?

For customers wanting a more permanent installation, the spoiler lip can also be bonded/sealed directly to the spoiler using a suitable automotive-grade adhesive or sealant.

⚠️ Please note: A bonded installation may be effectively permanent depending on the adhesive or sealant used. Removing the spoiler lip could potentially damage the original spoiler and may require the spoiler itself to be replaced.
